More to follow

Just back from glorious two weeks camping in the Hautes Alpes region in France. We had brilliant time and lots of sunshine. We stayed at a brilliant campsite that we found from the best camping book ever. More to follow, especially photos...

Learning to be mobile

For the last couple of days baba has been crawling in reverse. Yesterday he had his first day with Jean and he had celebrated it by crawling forwards on commando style. He is also getting very efficient in shuffling along the floor on his bum. He is fascinated by Moses' bowls and more than once he has manage to make his way to Moses' water bowl and started splashing about. He is getting very sturdy on his feet and often walks along with holding onto the frame with just one hand. He has also started to walk along things like sofa or side of the bed...we need to start clearing all the things we don't want himt o chew out of his reach...

I will walk

Henrik is getting very determined to walk, he will not sit down if he can avoid it. His little play arch has been useful aid in the process, it saves our backs and gives him independence he likes...until he needs turning around as he has met a wall or got stuck under the table.
Henrik learned to clap by himself today...very sweet.

Mummy's masterpiece

HEnrik has grown out of his grobag and  I thought I'd try to make him a new one. I borrowed Paula's sewing machine and here's the result, not bad for the first time I don't think!
